A popular TV shopping channel has been suspended and its website has also been shut down, leaving 250 staff members facing lay-offs.
Ideal World TV announced in a post on its website and page: 'We regret to inform you that Ideal World have had to temporarily suspend broadcasting and our website.
'We're sorry for any inconvenience caused; we hope to be back online as soon as possible.'
