The footage, captured in Olympia, Washington, shows Sadie, the husky-mix, opening the gate using her paws and mouth without difficulty.
Her owners were out of the house and so used a baby gate in their hallway in order to prevent her from 'destroying' their home.
However, after just one hour of being alone - the smart pet decided to try and get past the gate.
The clever dog was standing on its back legs and used its mouth to start opening the baby gate
Seconds later it had somehow managed to open the gate using her mouth and was able to walk around the house.
Her owner wrote uploaded the clip online and wrote: 'Our Husky mix, Sadie does not like being alone and destroys things.
